Not a solid wooden base as advertised
The base in this bed is flimsy mdf in 2 pieces with cheap hinges joining it. The bed does sag as it’s impossible for 2 pieces with hinges to not sag under a dogs weight. Frame and material seem good quality so be prepared to spend extra on a solid base to make the bed as it’s described in the advert

Raised dog bed
I put 2 of these beds together in about 40 minutes, so unless you have problems with dexterity or following basic pictorial instructions you should be Ok. They are pretty sturdy and i think they should last a while. My 2 standard poodles fit the large size just about right. Whilst there is padding in the bed base its pretty thin so you will need to put in additional bedding.
