A bit of a shocker
I have been interested in autoimmune disease since my daughter developed psoriasis. I have type two diabetes (in spite of not committing any of the 'lifestyle sins' constantly highlighted in the media). I am keen to be healthy and stay off insulin for as long as I can. The book also covers many other autoimmune conditions. This book shockingly reveals just how much we are under attack from our environment, food production, cosmetics and some widely used medicines. It has been a total revelation to me and has pointed the way to taking some control over how my body reacts to modern living and pollution. An excellent book recommended for everyone
This is an excellent book that I recommend for everyone regardless of the presence or absence of disease. The book actually helps the understanding of disease and how early events can lead to disease and permanent inflammation. Surprisingly for me I thought my hypothyroidism was the source of my inflammation however, after completing the questionaries in the book it made sense to me that it was actually my childhood illnesses which has lead to my continued inflammation in adulthood albeit running slowly in the background almost unnoticeably. This book is preparing me to change my lifestyle and although nervous I am excited and looking forward to the results. And there I was looking for an AIP diet book when I came across this book. So glad I brought it. I consider it to be my best ever buy including my house! Thus this book will help you to improve your health permanently for ever.
