Fantastic item
I had to change the glow plugs in my 2008 vauxhall zafira elite 150bhp. never done this before. tried to extract them when the second glow plug came apert leaviving the electrode part of the glow plug in the engine and about 30mm sticking out of the engine. This tool clamped onto the electrode perfectly and with gental taps on the slide hammer removed the electrode easy and perfectly. Amazing tool at an amazing price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well worth £15.00 But not suited for all diesel glow plugs such as Ford.
Unfortunately this kit was no good for myself, I have a 2009 Ford Fusion that has the long 8mm glow plug, this product won't work as neither the collet or outer puller will fit inside the glow plug chamber to extract the tip and even if it did the puller would have needed to be 20mm longer in order to reach the tip. However all said the kit was only £15 with free delivery, some are charging £40 for it, worth getting if you have an older diesel with the short plugs or even if the tip is sticking and is showing outside the head as it will work. I took a punt on it and lost but won't slag it off because for £15 it's good quality and will be a godsent used on the right vehicle.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Get your self out of trouble
I was changing the glow plugs on my car and two snapped off in the engine. No garage wanted to touch it. Looking for a tool to grab hold of the electrode and pull the tips out that broke off. I settled for this puller as it looked right for the job. Selecting the right size coll-et for the electrode i tightened down the bar and then used the round block to tap against the handle to produce backward pressure to release the jammed glow plug. It took two attempts on each glow plug to get them out as they where well and truly stuck.Use plenty of penetrating oil and leave to soak before attempting. The puller works very well and very easy to use and can save you a very hefty garage bill. Well worth getting if the main body of the glow plug breaks off and leaves the tip stuck with the electrode sticking out.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect tool for a difficult job.
If your trying to get the tip of the glow plug out (the electrode) then this tool is perfect. I was quoted between £300/£500 for a garage to extract it and they wanted the car for a whole day minimum. I have a ford focus c max 08 plate. Worked great for me.
