When you get it working properly it's BRILLIANT
OK, finally got this working properly with the Samsung HW-MS650. Tried following the pamphlet instructions to set it up, then went on to Samsung help line, then got referred to a technician to help me get it paired. But when I got it home, it just vibrated with no real audible bass sound (I've read other reviews complaining about this as well). Turning the bass up to 6 didn't make much difference. Fortunately after searching for hours, found the solution. SOLUTION: Change the batteries in the subwoofer remote to proper branded ones, then re-set everything from scratch. OMGoodness, just did that now and it nearly blew my socks off ... had to turn bass volume down to 4. Now I'm sold. This thing is fabulous and well worth the money when you get it operating properly. Movies come alive. Will be getting rear speakers next. Just thought I'd share my experience in case it helps someone else.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Samsung SWA-W700 Subwoofer for MS750 Soundbar
For some reason I had difficulty getting the subwoofer to connect to the soundbar.. The manual and Samsung on-line support were not much help. You would think modern electronics could be designed to connect such devices automatically. After a number of attempts over two days I finally got the two to talk to each other and from then on operation and sound were excellent. The subwoofer is solid, heavy, and very stable and produces powerful bass. I connect my TV to a PC via HDMI and accessing good quality uTube channels and PC music files is amazing. The remote control supplied with the soundbar has limited facilities to control the subwoofer and pale inadequate labeling. It can only be described as 'cheap' when supplied with an expensive sound bar and speaker system. Overall the subwoofer's sound quality makes up for other deficiencies. Great addition to HW-MS650 soundbar
I originally bought the just the MS650 as it was meant to have good bass just on it's own. This was used mostly to play music from Spotify & was happy with the sound. Over time, I thought it would be even better if there was a subwoofer, so purchased the W700. At first, I didn't really notice much difference in sound & in fact thought it muddied the sound. After I angled the subwoofer to the corner & fiddled with the Samsung App, the sound is now fantastic by having a more rounded balanced sound. I also found the 3 different sound settings on the remote are now all very usable with no setting having the harshness or loss of fidelity I had originally experienced in some modes without the subwoofer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
