Superclamps
A clamp's a clamp, right? No, these are something else, they are so quick and easy to use, one handed too, of great importance when trying to hold items in position with one hand while clamping with the other. Used in conjunction with an MFT style bench, these are absolutely fantastic for holding things flat to the surface. They slide perfectly in T-Track too, ideal if one needs to secure something upright. There are cheaper options - and I own a number of them - but these are worth every penny if only for the time saved in not having to faff about with the screw(ed) up types. They say you can never have too many clamps and sometimes when it comes to clamping it feels like you can never have too many hands either! Using these is like having a spare hand, such is their simplicity and ease of use.
