Wow ! Great quality Undercoat that gives you a superb finish ......
This is without doubt one of the best quality paints/undercoats that I have ever used ! I have been painting for well over 40+ years now and normally use Dulux undercoat because it covers well and is just the right consistency ! However I tried a can of the Johnstones 2.5 ltr Dark grey undercoat and wow ! The paint is superb, thick enough to give great coverage to any surface, use two coats, as I did, on my shutters, that suffer from all the extreme weather that you can imagine and the painted surface, ready for the gloss etc, is quite simply the best I have ever managed to achieve. In short if you are looking for an undercoat that covers all imperfections and gives a great surface for the final coat this is the paint for you. The additional point to make is that this is an oil based paint and as a result gives a far superior finish than any of the water based paints on the market
