Exceptional relaibility, range and performance
I chose the BT product because If you read reviews of competing products they all suffer from lockup and require reboots. I have not rebooted the BT AP since I bought it 2 weeks ago. The wireless range at 2.4Ghz is considerable more than my plusnet and belkin dula band routers so instead of using this to extend my plusnet router wifi, it has replaced it. AT 5Ghz in same room, 802.11ac speeds are a stable 860mhz. What has surprised me most is that my 802.11n laptop, which normally never got above 140Mhz no matter how close it was to one of several routers. Wit the Bt devixe running Wirless-N at 5Ghz it a is a solid max 300Mhz. I have planned to upgrade the laptop network adapter to 802.11ac but that is no longer required. I can't recommend thsi BT product enough, there are products out there claiming slightly more powerline speed of 1200mhz rather than 1000mhz but that extra speed is not worht the reliability. You would need to be streaming more than 4 UltraHD channles simultaneously and have two or more AP's around the house to noticeVerified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

A good alternative to more expensive brands
