EXL110 Nickel Wound, Regular Light, 10-46. The standard for most electric guitars. String Gauges: Plain Steel. 010. 013. 017, Nickel Wound. 026. 036. 046.
EXL110 XL regular light-gauge electric guitar strings are designed to be durable and to deliver a rich tone. The six strings' 0.10" - 0.46" diameter (from 1st to 6th string) make them pleasingly responsive and invite more expressive playing. All the strings feature a high-carbon steel core, with the bass strings being wound with fine nickel-plated steel wire providing excellent tone and intonation throughout the entire fretboard.
My favourite set of strings, used on all of my guitars!
These were recommended to me a few years ago by a good musician friend. The set is very well balanced, with the strings tuning in slightly slacker than what I was used to with other brands. The result meant that playing was a more comfortable and natural experience, which is what everyone wants.
Too quality, consistent, reliable professional strings
Like many guitarists, I've tried a lot of string types, gauges, materials and brands. Personally, I keep coming back to these - they sound and play just like I want and seem to last longer than others I've tried. Compared with coated or boutique strings that a way more expensive, these sound just as good and last just as long to me - for the way I play.
