Lightweight espresso capable machine
I wanted to have a travel coffee machine, that is small and light enough to carry it in my backpack. I checked a lot of these travel / on the go coffee machines. I had an opportunity to try one handpresso out. From that point there was no turning back. I wanted one.
Okay 16 bar is too much, I use the "pressure gauge" and pump it around 8-9 bars. The gauge is the weak point for me. I do not know what pressure is applied... okay on the other hand on top of the mountain I do not really care what the actual pressure value is I want my coffee :)
At first filling up the filter basket is tricky, it would have been nice to have a funnel for it but after a few attempts it is not so uncofortable. Maybe this filter basket fill up is the same with all the other on the go coffee machnies. The handle tamper is... okay you have something usefull.
I found out to have the best results out: pump it at halfway, put hot water in the "tank" let the system heat up till heating up you have time to fill up the filter basket with preground or freshly ground coffee, throw away the water put fresh brewing water in and brew the coffee, stop brewing before the "hissing". For me this worked out the best.
