These are quieter, more powerful and also make a greater contribution to vent the system as SFX power supplies. Was the SG05 / SG06 120 mm fan behind the front have a huge advance over other housings with 80mm fans, Silverstone is now considering still a good cooling performance on top of it and now allows addition 120- and 140-mm fan behind the front - to be used together with the associated possibility of an all-in-one water cooling system with 140 mm radiator in order to keep powerful overclocked quad-core CPUs thermally in check.
Anyone attempting a full featured mini itx build in a tiny case will always have their work cut out and this is no exception. However, with careful consideration of components and layout it’s definitely worth the effort. Saving additional space with an m.2 ssd means a full size gpu and 140mm psu are doable. I even squeezed in an aio cpu cooler. It’s tight but time spent sorting positioning your parts will make for a very satisfying build and a great looking rig. And oh so quiet. Honestly, all PCs should be like this.
A good buy. Does the job well and looks the part. My only comment is the front indicator leds. They are mounted to show along the bottom edge of the front panel where they become almost invisible. I discarded the led mounting assembly and drilled two extra holes alongside the usb port and glued the leds into the holes. This worked perfectly.
