Lightweight with great features
These crutches work great. I didn't even have to adjust them. They fit fine. The delivery time was fantastic. They arrived 2 days early. The earliest I could get an appointment for crutches at the VA was April 23rd almost a month away. In order to stay on schedule with my Doctor, I had to take matters into my own hands and this is the result. I give then 2 At-A-Boys! One for the product & one for getting them here in a timely matter. The only suggestion I could make is to beef up the hand grips. The weight of a 6'2" 258 lbs guy puts a lot of pressure on the grips. Being on the soft side doesn't help matters. But like everything else, if this becomes a problem, I will find a way to deal with it. I have a slow healing diabetic ulcer under the ball of my left big toe. The crutches helps keep the weight off the ulcer and cuts down the steps getting from one room of the house to the other. I only wish my Doctor would have thought of this sooner. I believe the crutches would have helped speed up the healing process. The ulcer has been open almost 1 year as the VA tried one thing after another to get it to close.
