The Number 1 Slim 12CM Fan.
These are the new and improved AKASA fan range, this 12cm PWM fan has it all, performance silence and its thin. At full speed its not that loud at all in fact on my AKASA fan controller on its slowest speed the fan is totally silent and chucks out enough air to cool an overclocked dual core 939 cpu on a single radiator, they are good quality too and the cable length is perfect (30cm) I have 2 of these fitted to two 12cm radiators in my retro gaming PC (desktop not tower) it runs windows98 and xp on 2 separate SSD's, you cant hear a thing! the second one is cooling my watercooled 7800GS graphics card. These are extremely good fans, very highly rated in the gaming community.

Really quiet fan, very happy
I had read other reviews online about this fan being noisy and ineffective, but my experience is the opposite. This is a really quiet fan, barely audible and it has good airflow properties, so it is a winner in all regards.
