I suffer with my ears when coming in to land on an aeroplane and these help a lot. Put them in when I notice that the plane is decending and don't have a problem with my ears. Well worth the money.

Not completely sillent
I have a cat waterfall drinking system as cats prefer to drink fresh running water. Most people cannot afford t leave the tap running, therefore running water fountain, but whhen all is quiet it is noisy. Got these bell shape ear plugs with hard plastic internal rods. Although pushed totally inside,I could still hear running water. But the cases that they come in are ideal for attaching to a button or belt. But once opened and closed they are very difficult to reopen
