My new phone does not allow use of SD cards and I intend using it during holiday to take photos and record video, so extra storage was important to me. I saw a video of one of these online so bought one and i am glad i did. It could not be any smaller, but is small enough not to be to obtrusive when fitted to the phone. The phone can write to it easily via the micro usb on one end and once ready to save to pc, use the other end. I do not have USB 3 pc, but this still works on USB2 without issues. The device has a clip to attach to a lanyard etc, as being so small, it may be easily misplaced.

Would have given this 4 or even 5 stars as it is a good design and really useful for transferring from phone to computer etc I suppose. However I first used it on my Mac and put photos on it (JPEGS) to give to somebody who was flying to New Zealand. They cannot see anything using a windows system? I was not asked to format or anything when it was first plugged in so i do not understand why it has not worked on his system as the files were there. Perhaps it was just a faulty drive but its now in a bin in New Zealand so who knows.

If the fact that this USB is a dual drive is the main reason you are buying it, double check on the Sandisk website that your device is compatible. I have a Samsung S4 mini and found out after purchasing that this USB won't work with that model, hopefully when I eventually update my phone, I'll be able to use this as a dual drive. Either way it is still great value for 32GB and dual drive capability.

Can't say how robust this will be but It has worked well so far. Makes watching movies on my phone on long bus / plane journeys easy without having to fill my note 4 memory. I have also used it to watch hd movies on the tv with it without a problem.
