    The best choice for Mossberg 500

    After looking at a few options I decided on this one. I didn't like the velcro or "quick removal" type steups they just looked cheap to me. The newer "slim" tacstar rubber one I've heard holds the shells way too tight and that's not good when you need a smooth reload. Promag makes horrible mags so why would their products be any different and it's huge and bulky although I did think the adjustable retention was a good idea. Anyways-- This holder looks great and holds the shells snug. The plastic had some swirling in it from manufacturing, no big deal I just spray painted the plastic piece matte black to match the shotty more. Thank you!

    Reliable, easy fitting, and top quality

    Great shell holder, hold the shells tight so they cannot fall or shift, yet still easy enough to remove the shells without struggle. Putting the side saddle on was simple and easy, locktight was already on most screws with it in the pack. Overall the best side saddle you can get.

    Not flashy, just works

    I've owned several of these over the years - I put one on most shotguns I've owned. I tried other designs, they generally cost more and work worse. These aren't flashy or hi -tech, they just do what they are supposed to do. Easy to install and simple - a good choice for people who care more about function than flash.
