I bought it to replace one I have owned for 10 years, the braided hose connecting the water control to the spout means that there needs to be as large amount of space behind the unit, whereas the original had a copper pipe which was so much slimmer. The spout itself, is fixed using a flimsy plastic nut, a metal one would make more sense. The shower head is cheap plastic, replacing a sturdy metal head. Overall, it feels like it will not last as long as my original, and it is made to a price, as most things are, but the quality feel isn't evident, and it isn't reflected by the cost.

A profusion of flexible pipes at the back, not shown in the promotional material, show poor design and the need for a large amount of space to accommodate them.
