This is the third one I’ve purchased in recent months. No not because the others failed, but because they are so good. Versatile, practical and easy to use. The first two secure gas bottles, and expensive Weber BBQs to a wall mount. This last one for securing a trailer when leaving on vehicle overnight.

I bought this for my bicycle. As I don't live in London or any other big city, then it is a bit like overkill for me. It is a hefty piece of equipment and would do as well tethering a motorbike or some other heavy equipment. I would be reluctant now to carry it on a bike because it weighs so much. Having said that, it is extremely well made and I can't see an opportunist thief cutting through it easily.

Haven’t had my bicycle stolen so far fingers crossed. An extension chain would be handy so you could easily lock up two or more bikes.

As a security chain it's excellent, but for everyday use it's far too heavy and bulky, especially if you're a cyclist. The lock is extremely fiddly too, it sometimes takes a few goes to get the key in correctly to either lock or unlock it.
