Dekton Vinyl Pipe ratchet I had to go on You Tube for a clue on how to open them to make a cut. I was wondering should I take off the guard. But, saw a lady presenter show on another set, you just need to pull them open. Because mine are brand new it just needed a bit more effort to pull them wide open. Glad I didn't remove the guard or anything else. Cool idea the ratchet. Closing up the blade a notch at a time. Making it safer to use. Good value for money thank you

Disappointing
Disappointing. Does not really function properly on waste pipe. The notches on the racket are designed too large and hence it is not able to reach the next notch (and thus incrementally close up the blade) as you squeeze the handle multiple times. I managed to get it to work by using my free hand to apply closing pressure onto the jaws to help it along. However the whole point of this tool is to get a hassle free way of cutting pipe. Great cutters when used correctly!
These are excellent cutters for the price. They can be used wrong which could lead to unsatisfactory results. They work great by applying light pressure with the blade, score all around the pipe a couple of times before cutting all the way through. Good for the price
Work well on push fit plastic 32mm waste pipe, good clean cut as long as you score the pipe gradually and increase the pressure, I was looking for something better than a hacksaw and this fits the bill! Can be used on pipe up to 42mm so one tool fits all. Could do with more instruction on the package as some ( just to let you know pull the handles apart to open the cutter) things aren’t obvious. good design, probably flawed manufacture
