What a great product
I'm loving this trailer, it allows me to carry a lot of camping gear, water, food, etc. without putting that weight on the bike. I'm a big guy and I am always conscious of the strain I put on my rear wheel and drive train, and putting the weight of all that stuff onto the wheel always worries me and does cause me to end up replacing spokes and truing the wheel when out for long rides. The trailer really works well and the attachment system is super clever. BOB really came up with a nice simple solution for that, that just works. There are a couple things I would make suggestions on if it were a perfect world. First is that the trailer is heavy - no joke, you will suffer on climbs, and the extra room it gives you to pack stuff in will have you kicking yourself for buying that watermelon when you're halfway up a giant hill lol. I'd love to see this trailer made in a lightweight material like carbon fiber - as long as the price doesn't get stupid. Second, the drybag that comes with the "plus" versions of the trailers is seriously SUPER heavy. There has got to be a better solution to that bag - I weighed it and it came out to just under 4 lbs. - that's just the bag. Third, is the rear reflector - This is a really good candidate for a solar powered taillight rather than an anemic reflector. I added 2 taillights to the trailer (since it's so far back you can't tell if it's blinking, so put 2 in case one dies) and I highly recommend you do the same. Cars are really not used to seeing trailers on bicycles and just putting a light on your bike isn't a good solution since the cars may get much closer to the trailer than you want. Fourth is the floor of the trailer - it's a steel mesh floor and it literally eats up the drybag due to the vibrations of riding. Instead of the steel mesh, I think a smooth carbon fiber floor with a couple hole in it for drainage would be superior. I put a piece of 3M clear film on it to keep it from chaffing the bag anymore. It's working, but wearing out pretty fast. Overall these are just niggles and it's an awesome product and I'm super happy with it!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

B.O.B is a must for cyclists
Such a great quality product, it’s sturdy and goes anywhere. Turns your bike into a Ute. Excellent for going camping , taking your cans and bottles to the recycling depot or just doing the shopping. It’s easy to use and doesn’t feel heavy even when fully loaded. I would recommend getting the Wandertec BOB cargo liner (sold elsewhere) to protect your dry bag.
