This stuff is nasty.

My Opinion
As a self-proclaimed "health nut" on an exclusive vegan diet for the past 38 years, I have tried a couple of other red nopal cactus juice products before finding the Nopal Eye brand. One, although quite popular, was laced with other fruit juices and a preservative, and was so expensive due to it being sold by a multi-level marketing company that it was neither affordable of as nutritious due to the many additives that diluted its efficacy. The other, while much better, and in its concentrated form was much more pure, as well as economical, but for some unknown reason its availability was abruptly halted without explanation, thus leaving me both "high and dry" for a replacement product. Recently, I happened upon Nopal Eye's "Red Nopal Cactus Prickly Pear Fruit Juice Puree," and I must say it is the most delicious, pure, and nutritious product of its kind on the market today. Plus, its price is quite reasonable compared to the others mentioned above, and I would not hesitate for one moment to recommend it to anyone interested in maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This juice is green and bitter which indicates it's made from the green pad of the cactus, not the red fruit. The taste is terrible and it has a sour smell. I was very disappointed.
