Hidden in Plain Sight
Super cool looking! Unless someone really needs some gas, they're not going to mess with your tools. All it needs is a few dents & rust spots to look like a plain old jerry can. Out of the box, it's so good looking, you almost want to display it. Drawers are protected with a rubber mat to keep tools from sliding & they're nice and deep. Only negative is it's not quite long enough for my hammer...Holds everything else just fine though. Spectacular versatility and capabilities!
Not just a novelty item, but a functional piece of my mechanical needs! It holds all my pliers and Gearwrenches, to supplement my onboard socket set! No other "box" type container supports this small of a footprint. Wish I found these years ago! Too the people who state " lightweight hinge, thin construction, etc- go buy a friggen ammo can! TOUGH TOOL BOX
Bought this for driving trip to Alaska. Did not have any have problems with the box and even with all of the pounding it took on the Dalton Highway (the worst driving I have ever done). It was tightly tied down in a smithybuilt carrier, that worked just fine. The 2 verisions of this box are quite unique designs. I have the one with the drawers.
