More Battery Capacity to Revitalise a Failing iPad
The battery on my iPad 2 doesn't hold charge as well as it used to. I bought the Mophie to augment the battery on my old iPad mini and it does the job. First charge took a while but the extra battery capacity is very useful. When it's on the iPad it looks very sleek but it increases the thickness by a few millimetres and weight is increased by a noticeable amount. The extra weight doesn't really bother me because I only use the iPad at home to read newspapers online and surf the web. YMMV especially if you carry your iPad around with you. Be aware that the packaging states that Mophie provides extra data storage, but that is no longer the case. This was fine by me because the seller had made this clear on their webpage.

To access the additional memory and manage the additional battery requires the manufacturers app. Apple pulled this from the App Store some years ago apparently! A beautiful and well made item deliberately rendered useless by Apple themselves, presumably for their own commercial reasons.
