Good Memories...
I have had a bit of a problem with USB, SD & microSD memory lately.
When Android 5 (Lollipop) arrived with memory allocation security on microSD card added to phones and tablets, I thought the problem I was experiencing with memory was down to the new security boundaries enforced by the operating system.
What I actually found was several of my cards had bad blocks of memory.
I have purchased some new memory, SD, microSD & USB including this particular Samsung 32Gb device.
I am now fully testing all my memory devices and leaving entries in the memory file allocation tables where the files are corrupted and labelling them as "Bad Block No.x - DO NOT DELETE". This means that systems don't try to use the faulty areas of memory and the amount of free capacity is correctly reported.
This Samsung device is perfect throughout and I was amazed at the write speed this device could run at!
Many of my devices topped out at c.19Mb/s, but this device ran on several tests at c.48Mb/s. I wondered if I had a better laptop if I could write faster.
When data is important to you put it somewhere safe, this device is a good safe place.
I thoroughly recommend this device.
