It's a replacement part . . .
This circuit board replaced one that had failed in a Hewlett Packard LaserJet printer at work. It was bought as a used item which had been recycled. Replacing the part was very simple and after re-configuring the IP address on the printer - a hard reset had been performed in the process of fault finding - the printer was working again. All in all this was a bargain fix for the printer and although I spent quite a bit of time - a morning - trying to resolve the printer's fault the cheapness of the part and the ease of replacement meant it was very cost effective and a great advertisement for the WEEE legislation and the companies which undertake the recycling work.
