It actually works!
I live on the edge of a wilderness area, with lots of rats in my back yard. This Ultrasonic Repeller is frequency adjustable to match what critters you want to target. My neighbors tree has small edible berries that fall on my side patio, and every morning there are 20-30+ devoured berry remains for me to clean up. I set the "Repeller" on the appropriate setting, and voila, no more berry left overs to clean up! There haven't been any berries to clean ever since. Not one! This product actually works! As a side note, I left the Ultrasonic Repeller off one night just to see if the rats had moved on. Yard guard does not seem to work
Not sure if the device affects the cats - they do not seem to mind it at all. The dog next door still poops on my lawn, so it doesn't bother him (approx 30 feet away coverage). Whether it will be effective over time, I do not know. Therefore a lukewarm review - not effective in the short term (3 weeks). Somehow usable device
I put that device to get rid off some squirrels from my garden. They were stealing tomatoes and I was watching them while they were doing it. I do not like to kill and I purchased this device. At the beginning it worked, but next day squirrel cam five feet in front of this, and it was eating my tomato. I kept adjusting different frequencies, as recommended, but squirrels apparently ignored it, and kept doing their "business." The BB gun will work the best, but I do not like to kill poor animals. Groundhogs

Great that is adjustible for more then deer.

Se ya Bats/Mice
Had a bat the always spent the night in my back porch. I tried everything mentioned on-line to get rid of, then ran across this. Set the setting to "bat", plugged it in and it hasn't been back. Well made. Seems effective.
Installed on our patio wall last weekend to ward off squirrels from our courtyard garden. So far, so good. I'll come back and update the review if we find critters in our garden. The power cord from the AC power adapter is extraordinarily long! Very effective solution for squirrels!
I bought this product hoping to find a solution for a serious squirrel problem. I tried everything else but nothing was working. After first setting it up, it seemed to have an effect within a day but still noticed some squirrel activity. My original setup was using the motion detector setting but I changed it to a "constant on" with a noticeable improvement. Not as many squirrels would appear as before and for shorter periods of time. After a few days, I tweaked the setting to modify the frequency a bit and lo and behold....bingo!! They've disappeared completely. Not a single squirrel. In conclusion, I went from noticing squirrels off and on throughout the entire day (as many as 10 at a time) to zero in a matter of days. So for anyone who has a squirrel problem, I can confirm that if the unit is set to the proper frequency setting.....it should work as it has for me. I'm sure it can be just as effective for other critters but I can't confirm that. Bottom line is it sure works for squirrels at the proper setting! Problem solved! Hasn't worked as stated.
