Great DMX switch pack works very well to contol non dmx light fixtures at my frat house dance room.

I was going to buy the Showtec RP-405 relay pack for ~£92 but found this product instead. The QTX RP4 is a simpler unit without built in patterns, and its DMX address is set via DIP switches. This is perfect for me as I will be using it with a DMX control desk which will handle the chases etc. The other big benefit over the Showtec is that it has 8 IEC outputs - a pair for each channel. The Showtec has 4 Schuko connectors and would require a doubler or Y cable to control 2 devices per output. It works perfectly for my 8 LED pinspots avoiding the need to buy the much more expensive DMX controlled pinspots.
