Lovely Large Kit with many different types, all sturdy, great case
This kit arrived uickly and was so much bigger than expected. There is a good range of file types and sies, all sturdy, and the case it comes in looks durable, although I cannot be sure as I have only had it a couple of days. Well worth the price I paid of 14.99 with free delivery. You will hate this set of files.
Just split the cost of this file set and buy a couple of good files from your local hardware store. Some of the files have so little thread they may as well be classed as a set of bars. Treat the case as packaging as it's going in the bin. VALUE for MONEY and they work
For the price and what is out there, this represented to me IMO good Value, Like all engineers we love things boxed or cased and this comes in a smart zip case, which to be honest is more up market than the product. The files, as someone already pointed out are not cross cut up to or near the Tang of the file, which is Pretty Poor as this is the best area where most files do there hardest work as pressure is easier to bear down at that end of the handle near to the Tang. But what the H...... I needed a set of files for my workshop in France and if I had bought the in France you could have put another zero on what I paid, anyone who thinks things here are expensive, hope on a ferry and visit France, Germany, Belgium and do not think about Switzerland, or millionaires row as I call it, yes, we have access to cheap wine, but that is needed to get you mellow before a shopping trip (: Mr Spence EngVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
