The GEHWOL nail softener is a product that I have used for a few years now. It works fully as described. I have tried and tried to get some sort of treatment from my local GP but for some reason nothing is available therefore I was over the moon when I found your product on the internet. The only downside to the product is that it has a tendency to turn the toenail a brownish colour!

I bought this in the hopes that I would finally find a nail softener that actually worked for me. Years ago I bought one that did the job, but when I got a second bottle (of the same product) a couple of years later, it smelled different and did not work. Guess they had changed the ingredients. THIS sounded good, so I bought a bottle, but it took a week of applying it twice a day before I noticed anything happening and that was a very slight softening. Undaunted, I tried it for another 2 weeks, but it never actually made my nails as soft as the very first bottle I bought did. Very disappointing !

Does what it says on the tin. For very thick nails you'd need to use daily for a few days then soak in the bath before cutting nails. Works for me and wish this product had been available when I was younger.
