simple plug and play install. Not exactly full featured but does everything I hoped for. I can play music wireless from my iphone. I can make blue tooth calls. iPod/Bluetooth/Aux interface for factory GMC Nav w/Band button
My 2005 GMC Sierra Crew Cab SLT lacked both iPod USB & Bluetooth. After researching my choices this kit was the best value. I do recommend a professional installation if you have never installed a car stereo before. I had no issues and by following the directions as written I was successful in approximately 45 minutes of being patient and careful. Download the instructions BEFORE you try to use the radio’s new abilities-you will be glad you did. Easily paired my phone by Bluetooth. Same for using the USB function. Phone charges without issue. Phone calls by Bluetooth work well. Have yet to try a call using Siri but feel confident that will also work well, too. Very pleased with this purchase and how well it went together. Since I did not need the cigar lighter, I used the factory port for the USB install. Do your research on how the lighter and trim ring separate or you won’t have fun.
