I have two other at home so when this arrived I would just set the same code as the other ones but for some odd resome it didn't take the program , I tried delver all times and made sure the battery was good and still nothing . Easiest way to replace your garage remote
Most people would call a garage repair service, which would cost you at least $75 for the visit. This is much cheaper, you just have to do a little work to find the code on the motor housing. If you have the older dip switches like I had from a 1992 model of Blue Max ( Genie), you just have to look at these little switches and match them up on the remote. Note they may be reversed on the remote in position, but it will be the same 2 or more switches in the line. Use a small item to flip these tiny switches, like a tweezer or toothpick. If you don't have the dip switches, you will have the smart learn button, which makes it even easier. The instructions are good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

This may be a very good product however it was a universal opener but it did not work on my Chamberlain opener probably because it is over 20 years old. And by the way still works good. The new clicker had less dip switches than the original. I returned the clicker and received a very prompt refund. This is a good company to do business with. Most versatile universal type remote out there. The fact that it can control two completely separate types of openers with one device is outstanding. Caution: If the programming instructions say to press the button "4" times, be sure to complete the sequence and press it the "4" times.
