Bath plug hole took ages to drain and after spending a fortune on drain unblocker and also plastic drain snakes this did the job. The blockage was approx 2 metres in (probably a calcium build up). The only downside was it got stuck when trying to pull it out. When I eventually managed to extract it there was a big kink in it which I couldn't straighten. A lot better than a plumber's bill, particularly in these challenging times!

This rod fulfilled its function but suffered some damage in the process. The thickness of the item and the long part of the wire which was stretched meant the first time it was used it became bent thus making further probes more difficult. It has been used twice and has helped but a broader diameter would have added to the robustness of the product for future usage.

Although this item did not cure the problem I was able to ascertain there was no issue in my section of a waste water pipe. It was later identified as being a blockage in another section of pipe further on. I will keep it. A handy tool to hold on to. You never know!
