The throw-away world of today!
I have worked on push mowers since about 1957. Gone are the adjustable carbs made of metal. Enter the era of throw-away plastic. At the $12 bucks or so, you just pull the old own out and put ;in the new ( and add something else to the city dump!). I use a 1990 mower with a totally adjustable, metal carb. We need to backtrack and make things that last a life time again. Yes, the new carb works fine-for now. Next season, I may need a new one. My parent's 1946 GE fridge was still working great after 50 years and may still be going. BillVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Better than OEM in my opinion!
Fit perfectly, started first pull. Pilot and main jet circuit allowed sufficient fuel for increased mowing power. Did not have to change anything. Bolt on, push primer bulb a few times, roared to life first pull. No black smoke, no lean pop or hesitation when cold, starts and runs cold or hot. With Ethanol in "modern" fuels best to add fuel treatment and run fuel dry before putting mower in storage.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

PLUG AND PLAY
Received my carburetor in the mail and it was packaged very well. Took it out of the box and placed it on the mower. Put gas in the tank and primed the carb and two pulls later I was mowing grass. I did not have to make any adjustments or pull for an hour to get it started. Thus the title of plus and play. You just put it on and go.
