JBC is very much to my taste. I have a constant supply on draught in a Cornelius Keg. I use a four month brewing cycle, one month in primary fermentation, one month racked and one month in the keg prior to tapping. A brew lasts the family about a month. As this is consumed primarily with meals, particularly Sunday roasts I do not want too strong a flavour so I dilute the brew to 25 litres but throw in an extra kg of brewer's sugar. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, supply of JBC kits has totally dried up in Ireland and I think that I was lucky to find a UK supplier on eBay. This, of course, results in increased shipping charges for me which add a further 50% to my costs. Them's the breaks.

This cider is lovely crisp medium dry made to 23 litres excellent price I use a French cider yeast adds a little to the cost but well worth it really brings the best out in it, I've made lots of different kits a lot more expensive and this is fantastic all round highly recommended.

It is a very nice Cider to the dry end. Too easy to drink and clears down to a very pale colour. I am brewing a second one at the moment and I will bottle this one and try and keep it longer. I put my first brew in a pressure barrel and it was great. It was plenty strong enough brewed as 40 pints.

Nice product. Just weird that there is a nutrient sachet without any reference to it in the brewing instructions... But it's all good...
