So nearly a full five stars
I've used all types of kettle, but never a glass one, so this was a first. First the pros: This kettle is aesthetically pleasing (looks good). It also boils extremely fast. There is no need for a water level as you can see right through. So, so far just the ticket. However, here's the cons: The power lead is 90cm. My power point at rear of kitchen worktop is centered, so I have to stretch the lead to put the kettle at the end of the worktop. 30-40cm extra cable would have done the trick. Second, the spout is so tiny you have to pour reasonably slowly so the water doesn't come out the top instead of the spout. As for limescale, I believe this kettle will be able to be stood upside down in a tray of vinegar to remove limescale from around the lid, and a vinegar wash inside should be able to remove any limescale within the kettle.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent pouring - no more spilling
I bought this kettle as I likes the style, the blue light and the quality finish. It is supposed to boil water at a faster rate than other kettles but I can't notice any determinable difference from my previous kettle (although I've not got the stopwatch out :-) to test it!). Really nice to use and good to look at
I'm pleased with this kettle in most aspects. The illumination is good, especially in low light, it pours well, it looks good, it is easy to fill and although has volume fill levels printed on it, I find it easier to just say that each bump is about a mug full - so you are not heating water you don't need. It heats quickly. The only reason I have given it a 4 and not a 5 star, is that it doesn't switch off as soon as it is boiled, it takes quite a few seconds, so I sometimes turn it off manually, other than that, a great kettle, fit for purpose.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Loverly kettle

BEST KETTLE EVER!
I cannot fault this lovely kettle. It looks great, pours beautifully without as much as a drip. Boils quickly,and the noise is about the same as any other. It's so comfortable to hold and the lid is fine under my tap. There is nothing "iffy" about this kettle at all.
