Useful and good value
For about 30 years I have used a basic plastic vernier caliper for quick measurements of reasonable accuracy, but it is showing signs of wear now, so I bought this product as a replacement. It is well made of more durable steel and represents good value. The only slight reservation I have about it is that whereas most calipers have a small rack and pinion wheel mounted on the lower edge, to permit fine control over adjustments, this caliper has a protrusion which resembles such a wheel, but is, in fact, a non functioning. cosmetic contrivance.
