I have built quite a few of these, this was by far the most difficult, the instructions were OK but occasionally not clear enough as to which way around a part had to be formed, however the really difficult part was that a lot of small parts are assembled far too early in the process leading to them getting bent or snapping off when other parts were added, the order of assembly is not optimised to be able to assemble with damaging parts. That said very enjoyable to build.

The Apollo lunar module metal kit is difficult to build, you need to watch the youtube videos before you start, to get an ideal of how it is constructed. I nearly gave up at one point, but it pays to leave it for a while if you get disheartened. I think it was worth the effort cause in the end you have a nice accurate model of the famous lander. Some parts are really fiddly so take your time. How they manage to build it in a couple of hours I don't know it took me several evenings.

This model is beautifully made and elegantly designed. It's rated as moderate difficulty for ages 14+, but (even as a Chartered Engineer) I found it surprisingly difficult to do. It can be very delicate and fiddly to assemble, but when it's complete, it's a lovely, elegant and satisfying project. It takes several hours and a lot of care, but I'd say it's well worth doing

Excellent high quality kit. It is beautifully designed and made, though at times somewhat fiddly. A pair of fine round nosed pliers are essential, as are some magnifying glasses.
