    This little car is great to start with, for beginners and big kids, Due to the lock down I needed to find something I could tinker with and see my results after the upgrades. The kit allows me to make little adjustments at a relative small cost. However the car did come with all it needed to get up running, I bought the car with the bits and pieces you need to put it together and run after the build. That is to say: receiver and servos plus batterys for the car and hand set, this came in at £183.00 from Fox models. All in all, a fabulous product.

    Comes ready for beginner and easily upgrades pro

    Originally I was a Hornet/ tt01 fan when it came to Tamiya. Wanting to try my hand at upgrading a car I let my son pick this time as our pro grade hobby cars had always been Associated. The Neo Scorcher proved with a bit of money and research it can dance with the big boys and bury nitro cars. Easy kit to build and understand and forgiving after a few bumps when bashing. Very adaptable when upgrading from plastic to carbons and aluminium. Tub has a good layout for all the upgrades you can stuff in it but you will need to sacrifice the anti-rock shield for the motor and some of the water proofing equipment. Everything is available for this model. It is a great leap forward for Tamiya. Yes for less money you can buy a RTR FTX or HPI but we are having a great time experimenting and hopping up these cars ourselves.

    I enjoyed building the kit. Only just enough oil for the shocks. There are a ton of cheep upgrades you can add, I got some from China and some from Australia. Still running the stock motor, which is fast enough for me and I set to 50% for the kids.
