I bought this set after trying an adjustable cutter which did not work well . I only used 1 size of the set , but it did the job ( in 13mm Plywood ) of cutting 15 holes in quick succession . Whilst not suitable I suspect for hard use , I judge it to be good value and effective .

The rectangular late whose two pins engages the saws, if thin and bends causing the hole saw to wobble, it needs to be thicker. A quick fix is a large thick washer to provide strength.

I bought this for a specific task and it performed well. Probably wouldn't have a long life as it's cheap and cheerful but if you handle it carefully, don't abuse it and take your time you can do good work with it.

This was perfect for the job I brought it for. I was installing downlights and found it such an easy job to cut the holes. Where I was replacing some of the old fittings with new ones requiring a larger aperture using two cutters at the same time worked great.
