Robus R100SB ideal for bathroom
The lamp came very well packaged. The glass globe looks slightly pink in the on-line picture but is opal white. The fitting was easy to mount to the ceiling (mine was a straight replacement of an existing globe light) and I had no trouble connecting the wiring. The sealing ring (between the glass globe and the plastic mount which screws to the ceiling) is a soft plastic - likely to last better than the rubber seal on my old lamp which became so brittle that is just crumbled when I last removed the globe to change the light bulb. I'm using the lamp with a 10w LED bulb (bought separately) which gives a bright, even illumination, but the beauty of this fitting is that it would be easy to swap to a different bulb to get more light (or less). And when a bulb fails, it won't be necessary to change the entire fitting - just the bulb.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not hot .
I bought this to replace a similar one in my bathroom .I have had several of this type for the bathroom , and they are a good design . The only thing with them is that the heat of the bulb fries the fitting and that's that . But with the Robus a genius has been at work and designed a heat proof porcelain fitting which can take 100 watts with no problem. Has lit up my world
Had bought several of these style of lights , for bathrooms & utility ,over the years .All from Toolstation , cheaper but have lasted well ,they no longer stock them ,so looked on eBay and got these . Dearer ,but bulb holder ,ceramic or similar ,so should last longer as it doesn't get so hot . Will purchase these again .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Stylish, easy to fit and well priced bathroom globe light
I had a similar bathroom light fitment, slightly smaller globe, but the collar of the fitment had broken. Saw this and it looked perfect for my needs. Great light
I bought one of these lights a couple of years ago and it was so easy to fit, well priced and gives out a good light in my smallish bathroom. I overtightened the globe and chipped it so had no hesitation in buying another complete fitment and just using the globe as a replacement -- perfect fit, and I still have the new base if needed. Attractive and expensive looking
Very pleased with this Robus ceiling light. The globe is made of glass and looks very attractive in our newly fitted bathroom. It gives a good soft light and looks expensive against the bathroom ceiling lights found in general diy stores which we searched and found to be mainly made of plastic.
