We originally purchased a set of keyed alike locks, from a local locksmith, when we moved. After 10 1/2 years of extensive use parts of the old lock were worn out and the key occasionally wouldn't move the deadbolt. After some research I found out the locks are still made, so went ahead and bought it. Once the new lock arrived in the post it was a simple 30 minute job to remove the old lock, swap the lever set and refit the new lock, without having to alter the mortice or the holes in the door. With so many manufactured goods changing design over time, and/or manufacturers going out of business, it's great to find some products can still be repaired or replaced without needing to make modifications.

The lock is of good quality. Usefully and somewhat surprisingly, it has the same dimension as my old lock that has been in place for more than 50 years. Very happy with the item.

Very good value for money, an easy to fit lock in both metal and timber doors. As good a quality as more expensive better known brands. Appears a well made product that from previous experience of these locks, I know will last for many years.
