I am disappointed by this bell.. It's fair quality, well made but it's not LOUD! I have a cat that's a fantastic, patient hunter and I wanted to give the poor critters he hunts a fighting chance.. The info said it was LOUD... it's not that loud at all. So I will continue to try and find a LOUD bell. Not sure if my cat's very fast or very crafty when hunting but I want to load the dice in favour of the birds, mice, beetles and frogs in my garden. I like the bells and love the colours. I bought two, one for each of my cats, who catch far too many birds. It seems that the bird catching may have abated slightly since they got their bells. I can hear the cats coming, and the bells don't seem to annoy them. In fact, they seem to like to know each other's whereabouts for pouncing purposes.
