Great replacement engine
I was very wary about purchasing this engine as a replacement for an old Briggs and Stratton but all was well. It was a direct replacement, shaft was the same. Pulley fitted great, mounting holes all lined up. When oil was put into the engine and fuel in the tank,the engine burst into life. Connecting throttle cables to existing controls was easy and the engine works happily doing its job which is powering a rotorvator. The only downside was the packaging which wasnt very good around the starter area. When item arrived the side of the box had been pushed in and in turn this had damaged the pull starter cover. I needed to prise the cover off the starter cord before the cord could be used. This process lead to the paintwork chipping. That aside, engine is great.
