Fabulous feeder!
This 12 port feeder is one of the best feeders I have ever purchased. I have a 'bird busy' garden so this is perfect. It holds so much seed I can leave it out for a week, even while on holiday..through rain and shine. As well as the seed capacity the perches are another great feature. Rather than the usual single post, the open 'paddle' shaped perch can be used by all types of birds..... not just Finches and Tits, even the Robins can use it. The best feature of all, is that all comes apart for cleaning, every part of it is removable and made of moulded plastic so no screwdrivers are required and then once cleaned it can be easily clipped back together. In my opinion there is just one thing to consider and that is ...... the squirrel. It is not squirrel proof and they can dislodge the perches and ports if they jump onto it so I hang my feeder on the washing line with a wire loop and a carabiner... works a treat. Gardman Giant Premium Flip Top Seed Feeder for Wild Birds,45cm Height.
I filled each section of the above feeder with 3 types of bird food as per instructions. Section1, Bird Seed. Section 2, Peanuts. Section3, Dried Mealie Worms. Approximately five minutes after hanging it on to a Tree branch and before a single bird had visited it the feeder fell apart depositing all the bird feed on to the lawn in a mixed pile, the little plastic pegs holding the two half's of the feed containers together had all broken off. Needless to say I was not impressed or amused, however it has at least taught me not to leave e-bay feed back on such an item before it is in use. I eventually fixed this problem with my Son holding the seed container sections together while I wrapped Gaffer tape around them. Unsightly, but at least the birds are able to feed from it. Conclusion. I think the Manufacturer should make the feed section connecting pegs a great deal stronger.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A joy for birdwatchers - and garden birds!
All 12 feeding stations are regularly full, mainly with sparrows and starlings. Only have fill it once every 10 days or so. Very easy to clean and dry. Seeds in the bottom 4 feeding stations prone to sprouting after heavy rain but wooden skewers do the trick. It’s a birds life
We have a few long bird feeders but although they are ok this one is best by far. Our birds eat so much we were having to fill them up every day so this one is amazing because it’s so much bigger, stronger and easy to clean and fill. Giant seed feeder
The Gardman feeder is a good value easy to fill feeder and holds a lot of seed. its quite heavy when full so needs something strong to hold it and a strong tree branch, ive had it a few weeks with other feeders and the perches seem to be better for the birds. over all very happy with this feeder.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lovely Bird Feeder but needs to be redesigned. I filled my one up and just as I was about to hang it up the feeder came apart from the lid. I put it back on and made sure it was on correctly but the same thing happened almost losing 2Kg of bird seed in the process. In the end the only way to keep the lid on the feeder was to use Duck Tape around the top of the feeder to hold the lid on. As I said, it needs redesigning. Great for wildlife with 12 ports for feeding.
I have bought several of these over the years as allows up to 12 birds to feed at any time with the multi ports and attract a wide range of birds. The feeder holds a huge amount of sunflower hearts.The only downside is that squirrels can also use the feeder and because the perches are made out of plastic break these over time. By glueing in the ports helps a bit and prevents squirrels pulling them out. I also keep the spare parts when I need to replace a feeder for future use to replace when the squirrel does damage.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good feeder
This is the fifth one. of these that I have bought. The birds love it, I have two in use and two unreserve, also that when I have to clean those in use, I have immediate replacements. Lovely big feeder
