Superb function, slightly dated design
Really very pleased with this powered multi switcher from Bandridge. I currently have my GameCube, PS2, and PAL Sega Saturn plugged in and outputting to an inexpensive HDMI upscaler with no issues. There is still room to expand the number of consoles I have connected and of course all are outputting an RGB signal that the switcher can accept. The unit switched inputs automatically which is a great touch since it is located down behind my TV and not easy to get to. If I could level some constructive criticism against it it would have to be that the unit looks like something from the early 2000's. The chassis design is a bit dated and uninspiring to look at. That being said, it is tucked away out of sight and functions perfectly so I can forgive it for this. If however you like to have all your AV equipment on show then this might be a compromise you have to live with. All in its a great bit of kit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect answer to too many scart devices
There's not much to say really, this unit is fully automatic and as a device is switched on, it senses it and selects the device as the television source. Obviously, the television needs that source selected to receive the input. It's fully plug and play, so you simply plug in the devices and plug in the unit to the television. Just be careful to select the correct SCART socket for the output to the television - it is marked as such. Also be aware, it doesn't come with a SCART cable, so you'll need one for the connection to the television. The only downside to the model that was supplied to me, is it has a 2 pin EU plug, which requires an adapter in the UK. But this is more an annoyance, rather than a fault. Bandridge 5 way automatic scart switch box.
These switch boxes were the finest ever produced, no other product comes close, these boxes have been discontinued some years ago, no used ones seem to come up for sale. These scart boxes were fully automatic if you wanted them to be, its a shame that the manufacturers stopped production so soon. Many of us still use the scart system. Excellent switcher!
