Kenwood Upright freezer
Was looking for a really big capacity Freezer, this is larger than its predecessor which failed after many years, however it is taller but narrow interior width. I assume this must be for better insulation and lower running costs. So I will probably get less inside that I used to but still I like the product. Looks good, I was disappointed that the freezer does not display the inside temperature on the outside. It has alarms to show temp risen too high but I would like to see the inside temp constantly displayed externally. The icebox is a nice touch and gives me a good supply of ice cubes. Not sure why there are wire metal trays below the large boxes. The boxes slide on runners at the side and dont seem to need the wire metal supports however if the box is full it can catch on the wire metal tray above it which is a nuisance. Pleased as punch with the sleek, towering presence of this beauty. After a few second-hand duds it’s a relief to be able to count on Ken to keep cool under pressure. In turn, I keep him well fed with homemade goodies. He seems to consume as many chicken pies as I can make and yet always seems to have room for more.
