This is a great socket that allows you to have both a standard jack plug and an XLR for input. It's a great idea and being made by Neutrik, you can be sure that the quality is good. The reason that I say that Neutrik isn't helping is because THERE ARE *NO* PIN SPACING DIMENSIONS ANYWHERE ON THEIR SITE. This is Neutrik's fault, not the eBay seller's. I downloaded EVERYTHING that I could find on the Neutrik site. Actually, it isn't STRICTLY true that they don't provide dimensioning, because, as long as you have a CAD package that can open a .DXF file, then you can find out what the spacings are, but it is WORK! Maybe it was the package I was using, but there were only layers that gave me an image of the part - I suspect they made the PDF from this. So I had to find the diameters of the solder buckets and then find their centres and only then could produce the (quite complex) dimensions. The layer was there (in German), but empty. One could argue that these are solder buckets and not pins and so the part was not designed for PCB use, but really, it would have helped and as the DXF file has the data (they had to be actually made, so they must have it), it was not very helpful of them to strip it out. So yes, if all you are going to do is to solder wires into the back of this socket, then they are fine, but if, as I did, you wanted to wire them up using a PCB (much neater), then there is extra work that you have to do. It wouldn't have hurt to provide the information.Read full review
