I like the look and sound of this pickup.
The Dimarzio model P bass pickup sounds pretty balanced. It's got all the frequencies to be heard but still cuts through. It has a little lower output than split P and has a more hollow sound. It has a laid back sound for a bass player who does not want to standout much but can go there if you want. But with a little tweaking of the pole pieces it can sound like a split p.
