    300mm f/4 prom

    This is simply the best 300mm f/4 prime lens, Nikon have ever made. It is small, light and focuses incredibly quickly. It is solid and a joy to use. The VR (Vibrtaton Reduction) is spectacular. The 'boka' ( the out of focus areas) are perhaps a little odd and in some ways crisper than You might expect but not they are not unpleasant. This is not a cheap kit lens but it is worth every penny, I just love it! Bob
