Changes to old design
This product does the job to deter other cats from my garden to protect my own who is elderly and unwell. The older design had a metal stand that did not rust and is much much stable than the now plastic one. Also, the vital on and off switch I need is concealed in a protective casing underneath and I have to leave this off to operate the switch as I do not have them on all the time. I have several placed around the garden in-between shrubs so the electric adapter for mains connection is of no use to me but may be to others. The two 9v batteries, required do not last long especially in Winter, so this product is expensive to use on a multi basis. The Sony ones at poundland make it affordable. The light has gone so one can only judge operation by sound that is loud when one turns them on. I think the light indicator with the clicking was better as this also indicated when the batteries were low. Came in good time and looks good. Box obviously water damaged, but where is the lead? It does not say you have to buy it separately! Disappointed as bought from here as assumed lead was with it as didn’t say it wasn’t. Says works with battery or lead, but doesn’t say you have to buy them separately that I can see. Cat problems

Doesn't work
The only time this works is when you turn on. Cats stroll past and no alarm to scare them away goes off . I won't buy another, for since bought the cat has caught and killed 5 birds.
