    Lovely tyres, but incredibly tight fit

    These tyres replaced a set of Nobby Nic off road tyres. Firstly the tyres are excellent in gripping the roads, cornering is a delight and they handle the pot holes really well! Sadly they were a nightmare to fit! I ride tubed tyres but struggled terribly to get the tyres over the last bit of rim!!! I actually lost tyre levers trying to persuade the bead over the last couple of inches of rim. It got to the stage where I’d consider selling the bike when these tyres wear.

    A solution to a problem..

    Punctures!!! Big tyres=lots of pumping and lots of frustration... these tyres are fine for everything except extreme conditions....and so far only one puncture! So..so far so good-the tyres certainly perform well...
